Behavior System

This year I’m using ClassDojo to encourage important skills, like working hard and participating.

​​

  • Students will earn positive and needs work points throughout the day {these points are aligned to promote the Millersville Elementary characteristics}.

 

  • Students will have a daily goal of 10 or higher to receive a prize at the end of each day.

 

  • Points will continue to build throughout the year and the students  will choose an intrinsic reward to use/bring in the following school day. They will keep up with these points (on their own) in their class dojo notebook.

 

  • The student with the most points at the end of each week will be Class Leader for the whole next week. This student has shown that they are always making smart choices. They will have control over the students receiving points for behavior by using the iPad

 

  • As the students points build they are put in the 100, 200, 300, 400, etc. point clup. They are given a certificate with each accomplishment and a tag to wear around their neck.

 

  • When the entire class reaches a point goal together we will have a small party during lunch. They are allowed to bring food for the entire class and watch a short clip of a movie.
